Services
Our Sunday
church services are held at 10:30 am until
11:30 am and includes a lesson sermon from our Pastor: the
Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by
Mary Baker Eddy. Everyone is welcome to join us! |
Sunday
School
Sunday
School for children and teenagers up to the age of twenty is
held at 10:30 am and lasts one hour. Students
are taught the Lord's Prayer,
the Ten Commandments, and the Sermon on the
Mount. Children too young for Sunday School
are lovingly cared for in our Children's Room. Everyone is welcome
to bring children and teenagers to our Sunday School! |
Wednesday
Testimony Meetings
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m., we hold an informal testimony
meeting where those in the congregation tell of the healing
power of prayer in their lives. Everyone is welcome to join us! |

History
and Edifice
The first service as Christian Science society,
Haney was held February 29, 1940. A building was purchased and
later dedicated on December 6, 1942. Construction on the first
unit of the present building was started, and on May 18, 1947 the
first service was held in the building. It was dedicated December
7, 1947. In December 1968 the church was recognized by The Mother
Church as First Church of Christ, Scientist, Haney which was later
changed to Maple Ridge. The final stage of the building was
completed in 1970 and the completed building was dedicated in
1972. In 2008 we returned to being a Society. |
