Christian Science Society, Penticton welcomes a visit from you!  Below you will find current information on our church services.

In 1879, Mary Baker Eddy founded The Church of Christ, Scientist. Today there are Churches of Christ, Scientist and Christian Science Societies around the world. This society is a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sunday Services
Our Sunday church services are held at 10:30 am until 11:30 am and includes a lesson sermon from our Pastor: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Everyone is welcome to join us!
Sunday School
Sunday School for children and teenagers up to the age of twenty is held at 10:30 am and lasts one hour. Students are taught the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments, and the Sermon on the Mount. Children too young for Sunday School are lovingly cared for in our Children's Room. Everyone is welcome to bring children and teenagers to our Sunday School!
Wednesday Testimony Meetings
Every Wednesday, our church holds an informal testimony meeting where those in the congregation tell of the healing power of prayer in their lives.  These meetings start at 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us!

History and Edifice
Christian Science services have been held in Penticton for over 80 years - since 1919. In 1934, a church was built on Fairview Road and in 1974 the Lutheran Church was purchased - the present Christian Science Society at 608 Winnipeg Street.
